Where: The show will be held at Temple Park Centre, John Reid Road, South Shields, Tyne & Wear, NE34 8QN

When: The show opens at 9.30am and closes at 4pm on Sunday 10th August 2025

Bringing Birds

Vistors are welcome to bring their pet birds with them, subject to certain conditions, please see Bringing your Birds for full details. ALL birds must be harnessed or in suitable carriers. 

Refreshments

Temple Park Centre has a cafe serving hot and cold drinks, sandwiches, chips and light snacks. The cafe will be open for the duration of the show.

If the weather is good, there are also lots of nice places to sit outside in the park.

By Car 

There is a one way system to access Temple Park from the A1300 (John Reid Road), which is a dual carriageway. Please follow the plan below to approach from the right direction, using the roundabout. Click the map to go to Google Maps for more directions.

Where to Stay

There are many hotels within a few minutes drive of Temple Park, including all of those in South Shields, Washington and Sunderland.

Local Area

South Tyneside is home to some of the best beaches in the UK, and they're right on the doorstep when you're at Temple Park. Head over to South Shields or Seaburn for sandy beaches, traditional fish and chips and amusement arcades. 

The A19 provides easy access to the rest of the North East too, so you can venture into Newcastle and Gateshead, up into Northumberland, or down to Sunderland and County Durham.
