Yes! Most of the show will be inside whatever the weather. The free-flight bird show will take place in the main hall in the case of wet and/or windy weather.
Your feathered friend(s) are welcome at the show. Please follow the guidance on bringing your birds to make the show safe for you, your birds and other visitors.
Absolutely! In fact, we've made tickets for under 16s free of charge as we're really passionate about educating children about our fantastic hobby. There are lots of activities specifically for children including a treasure hunt and colouring competition, and we're sure they will enjoy the free-flight bird demonstration too! Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
Only assistance dogs are allowed into the main show hall. Some birds are frightened by dogs and we do not wish to cause them undue stress. Temple Park Centre is located within Temple Park which is a very large dog-friendly park.
Travelling & Venue
Yes! There are many hotels within a 5 minute drive of the venue. Take a look at the Where to Stay and also the many listings on Visit South Tyneside. .
There is a large car park at the venue. Currently (November 2024) this is free to us; however, the car park is owned by South Tyneside Council who have informed us that a pay and display meter may be installed in Spring 2025.
No vehicles are allowed inside the show hall. There is parking on site and there are stopping spaces directly outside the main doors to the show hall, at the same level as the hall. We advise bringing a trolley to help move your goods into the hall.
